What is a Branding Kit?

A Branding Kit contains the key elements needed to achieve a cohesive and consistent online presence. Each kit contains a carefully created colour scheme and curated typography palette that resonates with your brand’s message. Hand-drawn icons and customised elements help complete the look. You can provide your Branding Kit to your web designer/developer or use it as a basis for creating your own website.

Why opt for a Branding Kit?

> You know your website needs to look good, but you are not sure where to start.
> You’ve spent hours putting together a pretty colour palette and now you don’t know which fonts will match it.
> You want some lovely graphics¬†and a logo but can’t afford to get them custom made – and even if you could, you wouldn’t know who to ask or what to ask for.

Let me help you save time and money…

A full custom branding package is a considerable, yet worthwhile, investment. However, when starting your business you may be unsure of the short to medium term future in terms of business direction, so a larger investment may not be a viable option. A Branding Kit is an affordable alternative, which can provide you with a decent Brand Blueprint and give you confidence in your online presentation.

A thoughtfully created Colour scheme and complementary Typography palette with carefully paired font choices take time to curate. Select a Branding Kit that best represents and resonates with your brand message and appeals to your ideal target market.

There are two kinds of Kit available, Limited Edition (only one of its kind will be available for sale, once you’ve bought it, I take if off the sales page and nobody else will ever own it but you) and Ready to Wear (many for sale). There is one of each for each devised ‘theme’. For example, the Limited Edition ‘Scandi Branding Kit’ has an alternative Ready to Wear version with ‘Cosy Ice’.

A Logo should be created and edited with a Vector program such as Adobe Illustrator so you don’t lose quality when resizing. ¬†If you do not have access to a Vector program, or do not have the knowledge to use it, I have included PNG versions of the Logos without any text so you can overlay any text for the logo yourself in an image editing program such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva at Work (the paid version of Canva is required to download a file with a transparent background). You can obtain a free trial of both of these programs. Alternatively, you can hire a designer to make the alterations you require.

The suggested fonts are not included in the Kit – rather links to where they can be downloaded are provided (the fonts are free to use for personal and commercial use – either from Font Squirrel, Google Fonts or dafont.com). Most of the fonts are available in Canva and can be easily installed for use on your PC/Laptop for other programs (eg. Microsoft, Adobe).
